The Science Salon & Humanities Hour series is a staff-initiated series of lectures by faculty for Weinberg College staff members. It has been an ongoing series since 2012, with topics ranging from Professor of Psychology Sandra Waxman’s talk on “Amazing Babies: What Do Infants ‘Think?’ and How Do We Find This Out?” to John Evans Professor of Chemistry Rick Silverman’s discussion about “Drug Discovery: Ingenuity or Serendipity” to Assistant Professor of English John Alba Cutler’s talk on “Chicano Literature and the End(s) of Assimilation.”
