The College offers 48 majors and 54 minors that encompass the full scope of human endeavor — humanities, arts, mathematics, the natural sciences, and the social sciences — with an emphasis on critical thinking.
Many academic programs are interdisciplinary, bringing together experts from different departments to advance shared intellectual interests.
Starting with their first-year seminars, Weinberg College students focus on developing their writing, thinking, and discussion skills. Faculty members are actively involved in teaching both undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of forms, from large courses to small seminars, mentorship opportunities in studios to hands-on research in laboratories.
We encourage our students to explore widely and to make connections between the full spectrum of human thought and action. By taking advantage of research-oriented classes, credit-bearing internships, field-study experiences, and study abroad, you will be prepared to enter the workforce and today's complex world.
