Leadership Opportunities

We are proud to offer the following leadership opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students who wish to support the first-generation and lower-income community here at Northwestern!

OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDERGRADUATES

Summer program counselor: Counselors will live in the dorm, organize social events, lead study groups, and create a safe and welcoming environment for students participating in our academic summer programs.

Academic year peer mentor: Peer mentors support first-generation and lower-income students during their first year at Northwestern through a series of weekly workshops and community-building events.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS

Summer opportunities: Graduate students are vital to the mission of our summer programs, as leaders in the residential dorm and as educators in the classroom.

Academic year opportunities: During the academic year, graduate students coordinate the peer mentoring program, supervising the undergraduate peer mentors and developing the weekly curriculum for the program. GA positions have been filled for 2024-25.
