From Interim Dean Mark Ratner

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, Adrian Randolph of Dartmouth University has been named the next dean of Weinberg College. A respected leader and scholar, Adrian brings with him to Evanston a demonstrated set of administrative and leadership skills that will serve our College well in the years to come.

Adrian will begin his appointment here in the College with lots of exciting initiatives already underway, including preparations for a new neuroscience major, an expanded summer Bridge program, an exciting new Buffett Institute for Global studies, progress on interschool programs within Northwestern, and growth targets in several of our academic disciplines.

This has been a productive year for our College, and I want to thank all of you for the support you’ve given me as interim dean. I have enjoyed working with you and look forward to watching Weinberg College prosper, fueled by ambitious plans and grand aspirations. My best wishes for a well-deserved summer break.

Sincerely,

Interim Dean Mark Ratner
