Ramata Sow '09
Currently serving as a Foreign Service Officer for the US Department of State in South Africa, Ramata earned a BA from Northwestern in Political Science, International Studies, and Business Institutions. She went on to receive an MA in International Relations and Economics from John Hopkins.
Kari Amelung '85
After an incredible 33-year career in the CIA, Kari went on to consult on the hit shows Homeland and The Diplomat. She received a BA from Northwestern in Political Science and Government, followed by an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
Nina Horowitz '96
Now an active diplomat at the US Embassy in Tallinn, Estonia, Nina spent 11 years working as a Foreign Service Officer for the US Department of State. She graduated from Northwestern with a BA in French and International Relations and went on to receive an MPP from the University of Chicago.
Joseph Yackley '95
Recently appointed as a Department of State Fellow at Georgetown University, Joseph has been serving as diplomat for the Department of State for 11 years. A Fulbright Scholar, Joseph received a BA in Philosophy from Northwestern prior to his MA and PhD from the University of Chicago.
