Staff Spotlight- Christine Glass, Developer

Christine Glass is a Developer for Weinberg College IT.

How long have you been working at Northwestern?

Since July 2017

What excites you about your work at Northwestern University?

First and foremost, the people at Northwestern are some of the most welcoming, passionate, knowledgeable people I’ve met. I’m grateful I get to apply my technical knowledge and skills to support a thriving community of faculty, students, and administrators dedicated to knowledge and excellence. The culture of Northwestern has provided me room to try new things, make mistakes, and grow as a developer.

If you weren’t in IT, what do you think you’d be doing?

According to my Myers Brigg personality type, I’d be a great Nuclear Power Reactor Operator, Boilermaker, or a Private Investigator, so any one of those. Or if that didn’t pan out, something related to conservation or environmentalism.

What’s something you like to do outside of work?

Cooking with my wife, going on walks around Chicago with my dog, discovering new books (especially from Women and Children First), and road trips.
