Northwestern Policies

- Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) -All undergraduate students, graduate students and post-doctoral fellows conducting research sponsored by NSF must comply with NU’s RCR training requirements. See Weinberg policy section below for Weinberg-specific requirements.
- Effort Reporting- Effort Reporting is required for exempt faculty and staff with sponsored funding or commitments.
- Conflict of Interest (COI) - Federal sponsors require a COI disclosure for key personnel. Learn about NU's policies and procedures here.
